Bounce rate quiz: Why are people fleeing your website?
Google defines bounce rate as “the percentage of single-page sessions (i.e. sessions in which the person left your site from the entrance page without interacting with the page).”
In layman’s terms, bounce rates indicates how willing viewers are to interact with and explore your site. If they look at one page and immediately leave, they’re clearly not interested, or they’re not finding what they need. Bounce rate is a measurement of your site’s quality and factors into how high your site ranks on Google’s search engine results page. Lower bounce rates are ideal – aim to decrease this key metric.
Of course you want to engage your target audience, but are you actually achieving that goal? Or are you scaring people away with a poorly designed website? Take our quiz below to find out.
