The ever evolving adventure of SEO

I’m being a bit tongue-in-cheek, of course. But a lot of organizations think that SEO is something you do when you first build a website — and then you’re good to go! The reality is that SEO properly done is an ongoing practice that needs updating to remain effective.
If it isn’t already, an SEO audit should be part of your 2020 plans. Why?
As Greek philosopher Heraclitus said, “You could not step twice into the same river.” The Internet is like a giant digital river. It’s always changing and evolving. Devices change. Platforms change. Ideas change. And trends change.
All of which means that search terms and ranking factors change too. The optimization you did yesterday can become out of date and irrelevant.
And given how important being on the receiving end of the Google love is for visibility, it pays to stay on top of your SEO.
